As a Deadeye main (with a 1490 GS alt), I think it's one of the most fun classes in the game, the other being Gunslinger and I see why so many people would rather play Gunslinger. Gunslinger feels way more fluid, their skills look cooler, and the damage uptime is FAR easier on Gunslinger than Deadeye. Also, GS is very straightforward to play. The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots.
